Metrognome aka Karl White creates and performs music using custom software and touchscreen technologies. Design philosophy: software interfaces need not mimic hardware interfaces; vegetarian dishes need not mimic carnivore dishes.
This started out as a fun project to work on my quad core reaktor mods and start learning TUIO. My laptop’s dual core just isn’t keeping up with the newest designs.

This is a demonstration of the wiimote whiteboard software by Johnny Chung Lee applied to my intelectualist_v2 and hexagonal sequencers. I can “touch” the air or walls with gestures. Where is this all headed?

Entrainment machine, you need to use headphones for this one. The visuals show what you hear in each ear, then a merged signal which helps fine tune your brain state.
Simple rhythm machine with 2 samplers, each with various percussion sounds. Use mathematical values to select samples; e.g. the square root of 18.8 = 4264014. Each number in the sequence is a different drum sound. This was a proof of concept.
